Getting permits, HGTV DIDNT PREPARE ME FOR THIS.

In order to do a job of this level, a permit is very necessary. Getting a permit requires drawings for architect. The drawing gives a precise measurement of the final floor plan. All the the trades, meaning the plumber, HVAC guys, and electrician will be required to review, make inputs of their plans, and stamp for approval. Once your done with documentation, submit the request to the city for review and approval. The unfortunate part of this process is when you have to wait about six weeks to get the permit. Just has its a long process, it's a costly process. City permit can cost up to 500 bucks. The architect fee was 2500 bucks, I got into the wrong line of business. So as of now, and the construction is at a stop. The only thing that can be done now is demo.
